PRE-PRODUCTION UPDATES
-All vendors have been updated on the current quantities and we will be getting on their production schedules later this week
-Shipping supplies have continued to show up throughout the week and we are getting excited to get packing!
-We have finalized our 3rd party shipping company for all international orders
-Post-campaign survey setup underway. We will be using BackerKit for our surveys which will allow you to edit your shipping address and add additional units and other items to your order.

I hope everyone had a fantastic week, I have some exciting updates to share with you all which involve the word FREE.
SOME STATS
We hit 2000% funded this week and currently have 1830 backers from 19 countries. With 14 days left in the campaign, we are still amazed to see all the support, comments and emails about this awesome product!

I wanted to give a shoutout and thanks to one of our backers, Freek from the Netherlands. He has been helping me behind the scenes to provide this awesome artwork!
FREE TITANIUM RINGS AND EVERRATCHETS
A big part of crowdfunding is how the project gets spread around between groups of people, friends and communities who all have a common interest in a project or product. For this reason, we have decided that we will be adding products to backers orders who help us spread the word about EverRatchet!
Best of all it is free and takes only a few moments to do:
- When you are logged into your Indiegogo account use the buttons shown below on the EverRatchet campaign page to share our project:
- When someone clicks on your link and backs our project it counts as a contribution referral.
- We will be adding one (1) of the following to orders:
- 1x Titanium Keyring for two (2) contributing referrals
- 1x Stainless EverRatchet for four (4) contributing referrals

PRE-PRODUCTION UPDATES
-Acrylic sheets and supplies for the lasering fixtures showed up this week. I will cut these out on the laser, assemble and test early next week.
-Rev 3 of the plastic clamshell is on its way. An oval cavity was added to fit the extra storage bands that you guys asked for :)
-Getting close to finalizing the artwork for the clamshell insert cards. They are pretty similar but there is one for the stainless and one for the titanium verions. Could not be happier with how nice this packaging is coming out!
-Decided that we are going to go with the heat sealer to close the clamshell packaging. We are not going full frustration packaging but are going to do two or four points of closure around the perimeter so you can still easily open it with your hands.
-Got about 1000x #2 DeWalt bits in from a local store, so many bits! I have a second large order out now and will place the last order once I have the final quantity.
-Started ordering and getting in various shipping materials, honestly not too exciting to talk about.
-I had to make a call. We are not going to be offering 3-5 up bit holder or the product sleeve during the crowdfunding campaign. I met with a local company this week to discuss both leather and thin sport material options. After discussing, I decided that I am going to delay this until after the crowdfunding campaign. I will gather quantities from those that are interested in either option during the post-campaign survey and will circle back on this when I can put 100% into it.

I just took my home office door off its hinges with a titanium EverRatchet equipped with the #2 Phillips Bit. This ratchet makes projects go fast that I did not even think about running for a screwdriver from the shop. Can't wait to get these out to everyone!

On the Trending page for All Funding Projects, EverRatchet has hovered between positions #1 and #22 and is most at home around position #7.
I am excited to announce that we now have a shiny new gold badge on our campaign page given to us by the Indiegogo team. This badge is given to the projects that they find awesome and we are grateful to be added to their list of 146 favorite projects!
PRE-PRODUCTION UPDATES
This is the section where I will post news about the progression of our project. Below is the most exciting stuff I have going on right now:
-The 3D design for the laser fixture from the first update is complete. I am waiting for the acrylic sheets to show up so I can laser them to shape and assemble the swappable trays which will hold the EverRatchets in position while they get their markings.
-The plastic clamshell prototype rev 2 arrived on Thursday. It holds EverRatchet in place with the pry tool pointing up and a handy insert card has lines which highlight each of the features on the tool.
-Bought some electric staplers and a heat sealer in to finalize the best sealing option for the packaging, plan to test these this weekend. Multiple of the chosen sealing device will be attached to a custom fixture to allow us to seal the packaging in various spots at the same time repeatably to make sure each one looks as good as the next.
-Spending some time with the laser in the next room over and playing around with some graphic/patterns that I would like to offer as a free option selectable during the post-campaign survey. If you would like to submit an idea/design/pattern that you would like to see as an option, shoot me a message :)

EXTRA PAIR OF STORAGE BANDS – We have tested these band in many situations and even with a bunch of common chemicals that you may or may not run into on a daily basis but based on comments here and some messages that I got off campaign, they will most certainly wear out before your tool wears out. We have decided that we will be including a spare set of the storage bands with each EverRatchet. Thank you for the feedback and input everyone, this is what makes crowdfunding so awesome. Cheers!

Wow, just wow!
I wanted to thank you for your incredible support over the past day (just crazy) and for pushing EverRatchet to 100% funded in 10 hours and to 175% funded in 24 hours. We are so thrilled to see that you share the same level of enthusiasm for EverRatchet as us. It is an incredible tool and extremely functional in many situations and we can't wait to get them to you!
On the production front, all of our vendors we will be working with have been notified that EverRatchet is a go. We will be getting on their production schedules in the upcoming weeks at which point we can start chopping days off the timeline to pull the ship date in.
As for me, I have been monitoring the campaign and social channels as well as finalizing the laser jig design which will hold the EverRatchets in place while they get their markings.
